Laboratory DRFM

These DRFM are configured to become highly flexible target generators/transponders, signal delay lines, or coherent ECM simulators utilizing a higher number of digitization bits, providing the spurious performance required by high fidelity sensors.

Utilizing industry standard VMEbus based architecture, the 10/12-bit DRFM user has the option to develop custom software on an embedded processor, PC based host or external scenario source to support testing needs. KOR Electronics has been in the business of developing and delivering lab DRFMs for 20 years. KOR Electronics has shipped over 275 units with configurations of 6 to 12 bits. The DRFM KOR Electronics provides are innovative, proven and reliable, and will provide a cost effective tailored solution to your specific testing and training needs. The 10/12 Bit DRFM has up to 1000+ MHz of instantaneous bandwidth with up to 40 dBc worst case spurious suppression across the entire band.

These DRFM are also provided as components in much larger systems. Incorporating target/jammer/clutter generation hardware and software, these DRFM are used to develop low cost Radar Environment Simulators (see KOR RES product) ideal for anechoic chamber and free space radiation testing on flight test ranges. Alternatively, any combination of non-coherent ECM techniques can be combined with the extensive coherent ECM technique capabilities and target return generation of the DRFM to provide an Advanced ECM/Target Simulator (see KOR ECM/TS product). This provides an extremely powerful tool to test and validate radar/seeker ECCM effectiveness
