In December 2011, KOR Electronics was acquired by Mercury Computer Systems, a provider of best-of-breed, open, commercially developed, application-ready, multi-INT subsystems for the ISR market. Mercury´s strong financial position and powerful sales and marketing organization will help increase KOR’s solutions capabilities to the Intelligence Community. Our position as a market leader and its talented technical and professional personnel are both held in the highest regard by Mercury.

Under the terms of the agreement, KOR will continue to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary, reporting to Mercury’s Advanced Computing Solutions (ACS) business segment. KOR President and CEO Mr. Kevin Carnino will remain in his current position, as will the entire KOR management team. Carnino now reports directly to Didier Thibaud, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mercury’s ACS business.

Mercury Computer Systems is fully committed not only to ensuring that KOR maintains its worldwide leadership position, but also to expanding business opportunities. As such, Mercury stands firmly behind the KOR management team and its vision for the future.
